What is MedPay coverage?

MedPay (Medical Payments coverage) is optional auto insurance coverage that pays for medical expenses resulting from a car accident, regardless of who was at fault. In Colorado, MedPay is offered but not required. It typically covers medical bills up to your policy limit (commonly $5,000-$25,000) and can pay for ambulance services, emergency room visits, surgery, X-rays, and other treatment.
